Dubai is all about glamour. Ritzy cars run down its famously smooth roads and in the background stand steel skyscrapers, some of the tallest in the world.
Desert heat raise mirages and Dubai appears, shimmering, as if out of a dream, all glitz and gleam.

- Ski Dubai – Ski away right in the middle of the desert! An engineering marvel, this is massive fun as well.
- Desert Safari – Choose between a four wheel drive or a camel and set forth into the sand. Spend the night under the stars

- Women have all the legal rights as men and can really dress as they pleased but are encouraged to dress modestly to show respect to the local culture.
- Students holding ISIC, ITIC, or IYTC cards can often get discounts of up to 25% off published rates at Dubai hotels. Dubai also has one youth hostel in the Al Ghusais area at 39 Al-Nahda Rd.
- During summer time, hotel prices drop by 30%. If you don’t mind the heat too much and are looking to save some money – this is the time.
BEST TIME to visit
The best time to visit this vacation stop of the UAE is from October till March when the weather is mild and Dubai hasn’t turned scorching hot. This is when international visitors pour into the city. If you’re visiting Dubai only for shopping, consider visiting in the summer months. The shopping will be in the air conditioned malls and the prices ar cheaper at this time since it’s off season.
